Obituary: Andrew A. Dragomani, 93

Andrew A. Dragomani, 93 , of Westborough and formerly of Southborough died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Coleman House in Northborough.

He was the husband of Inez ‘Jeanne’ (Schofield) Dragomani for the past 66 years.

Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Avdazio and Maria (DePrete) Dragomani.

Mr. Dragomani attended the former Peter’s High School in Southborough and worked at the former Deerfoot Farms , Hygrade and LB Darling in the shipping department. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed gardening. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Linda Haley of Northborough and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David A. Dragomani; his brothers, Virgil and Leo Dragomani; and his sisters, Ida Urbinati and Gina Pierro.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 21 from 10 to 11:30 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12 noon at St Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Jennifer Kenney Zschokke “The Lavendar Warrior”, 50 of Southborough, MA passed away peacefully December 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by loving family after a 12+ year battle with breast cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Peter Zschokke and mother of Kyle and Ben. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Jennifer received a B.A. from Westminster College and MBA from Boston College. In her professional career, Jennifer achieved many successes, eventually becoming Group Director Audit for National Grid PLC based in London, UK. Jennifer’s’ professional capability, compassion for others and calm demeanor made her an influential role model to many others at National Grid. These traits also brought many close friendships over the years. Only cancer could take away her passion to paint and sketch since she was a talented artist as well.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Charles and Jeanne Kenney; her brother Mark Kenney, his wife Diane and their daughters Katie and Meredith; her sister Christi Boyle, her husband David and their daughters Ashley, Hayley, Ava and Ella and the family dog Apollo.

A Celebration of Jennifer’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main Street, Marlborough, Ma. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11 A.M. at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common Street, Southborough, MA. People are encouraged to wear purple. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Noel E. Soucie age 80 died Jan 1, 2016, Fri. at his home. He leaves his wife Annamarie A. (Locoli) Soucie of Webster also Susan Vanderhoof and family and Joseph Bugan, and Rev. Burt and Lucy Vanderhoof and the Loretta family.

He was born in Hartford, CT son of the late Edmund and Lucy (Williams) Soucie and lived in Webster for the past 4 years, prior to that living in Southborough.

He was a US Army Veteran of Korea. He was formerly employed by the Nichols Co, in Waltham where he was a tool maker. He enjoyed tinkering and animals, especially his dog Jasper. 

Calling hrs. will be held Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster from 5-6:30 PM with a service at 6:30 and military honors at 7 PM. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Joanne Ropi Kinas, age 64, of Southborough and formerly of Framingham, passed away at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on Thursday, January 7, 2016.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Stavre and Elizabeth (Thomas) Ropi.

Joanne attended Worcester State University and received a degree in Education. She taught in the Framingham public school system specializing in elementary special education, where she met the love of her life and married the late Christopher Kinas and they settled in Southborough. They retired together in order to spend all their time with each other.

In recent years she enjoyed dinners out with friends and family and rides in the car just to get an ice cream. She was the most thoughtful and giving person, she never forgot a birthday or a special occasion. She spent more time caring for others than for herself. Joanne has touched so many and she will be greatly missed. 

Joanne is survived by her siblings, Mark Ropi and his wife Phyllis of New London, CT, Thomas Ropi of Framingham, Michael Ropi of E. Bridgewater, and Stephanie Ropi Boutsifakos and her husband George of Southborough and Las Vegas NV. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Stephen Ropi, Benjamin Ropi, Mathew Ropi, Elissa Ropi-Coppinger, Craig Ropi, Katy Sprague, Thomas Bayard, Elizabeth Ropi, Nicholas Kinas and her god child Joseph Sprague. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 12 at 10:00 A.M. in the Albanian Orthodox Church, 37 Washington Street, Natick.

Visiting hours are Monday from 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.

Obituary: Isreal (Bud) Martin, 84

Isreal (Bud) Martin, formally of Southborough, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2016 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, with family by his side. He was born on January 23, 1931 in Lemington, Maine, the son of John and Marie Martin.

Bud was a graduate of Cornish, Maine High School in 1949 and married Theresa Leclerc on October 28, 1950. He began his twenty-year military career in the Air Force shortly before his marriage and was stationed throughout the US and the Far East, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Bud then continued his service to his country for an additional twenty years as a civilian electronics instructor at Fort Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts. 

Two children, Denise Nicholson and Thomas Martin both of Massachusetts, predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Theresa and six children; Steven Martin of Texas, Rosemary Boothby of Vermont, Craig Martin of North Carolina, Cynthia Rizzotto of Massachusetts, Ivonne Maxwell of Texas and Sharon McKinnon of Arkansas. Additionally, thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive Bud.

He is also survived by three brothers and one sister; Paul Martin of Maine, Anthony Martin and Roger Martin both of New Hampshire, and Joyce Martin of Maine.
Bud was a devout Catholic and member of St. Anne’s Church in Southborough, Massachusetts as well as the Knights of Columbus for over 40 years.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 15th from 5-7PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church in Southborough on Saturday, January 16th at 10AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery in Southborough.

Obituary: Robert J. Ruch, 87

Robert J. Ruch, 87, of Westborough, formerly of Southborough, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Kindred Transitional and Rehab. He was the husband of Myrtle R. (Ray) Ruch.

Born in Hornell, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Maria (Bieber) Ruch. He was educated in Hornell schools and was a 1950 graduate of Syracuse University.

During the Korean Conflict he served with the U. S. Army.

Mr. Ruch was employed as a Civil Engineer for the U. S Government, Department of the Interior for many years. In later years he worked part-time at Hardwicke Gardens in Westborough.

He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, enjoyed viewing the foliage, photographing mountains and genealogy. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Lawrence A. Ruch and his wife, Deborah, of Shrewsbury, one daughter, Theresa L. Ruch of Worcester; nine step-children, Gregg Isaacs of Plainfield, NH, Gerry Isaacs of Holden, Gwen Isaacs of AZ, Galen Isaacs Hudson, Greer Isaacs of Alstead, NH, Greta Morris of Rutland, Garvin Isaacs of AZ, Grant Isaacs of Lancaster and Ginger Hilow of Strafford, NH; three grandchildren, Joseph and Matthew Ruch and James Dooling; one niece, Jean Miller; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Lorraine (Osborne) Ruch and a son, James Ruch.

The family would like to thank Kindred and their very caring staff.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 2, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough, with Military Honors to follow. Burial in Southborough Rural Cemetery will be private.

Calling hours at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Monday, February 1, from 4 to 7 P.M.

Pearl Stockwell, 95, a lifelong residence of Southborough, died on Monday, February 22, 2016 at her niece’s home in Nashua after a period of declining health.

Born in Southborough, she was the daughter of James and Minnie (LeGay) Stockwell.

Pearl was a graduate of the former Peter’s High School in Southborough and worked as a secretary for Simplex Cable Company of Cambridge for many years. She spent much of her life caring for her family.

She is survived by her sister Barbara Sabulis of Yarmouth Port; a brother Robert Stockwell of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 1st from Noon to 12:50PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

Kathleen Joann Maguire, 86, a life long resident of Southborough, died on Thursday, March 2, 2016 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.

Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of Mary (Sheenan) and John Maguire.

Joann was a graduate of the former Peter’s High School in Southborough and worked for the former Anderson Furniture Store and Concannon’s Stationary Shop on Marlborough Main Street for many years. She was a very fashionable lady and dressed with many accessories daily, along with her carefully placed makeup.

She is survived by 2 nephews, Michael Maguire and his wife Linda of Southborough; Brian Maguire of Framingham; 2 nieces, Katie Bellemere and her husband Guy of Worcester; Maureen Nichols and her husband Brian of Spencer; 9 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces. 

A mass of resurrection will be held on Friday, March 11, at 10 AM at St Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough, followed by a burial in Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Leon ‘Lee’ Cummings, 93 of Southborough went home to the Lord on Friday, March 11, 2015. He died at home after a period of declining health.

He was the husband of Mattie (Karnes) Cummings.

Born in Freeport, ME, he was the youngest son of the late Lucey (Stevens) and Henry Cummings.

Lee attended the Bailey One Room School House and Freeport High School. He also attended, Shaw Business College of Portland, ME, Northeastern University and completed specialty courses at MIT and Emerson College.

He joined the Marine Corps in 1943 with a great desire to defend his country, but had to receive a medical discharge later that year. 

Lee loved his job at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA and worked for the non-profit Company for over 30 years spending his final years as Vice President in charge of State and Federal regulations. He was a fierce Red Sox fan and held season tickets at Fenway Park and with the Portland Sea Dogs. Lee was an active member and past president of the Red Sox Fan Club and the Bo Sox Club. He also watched a lot of baseball at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket.

One of his other joys was listening to all his favorite country and bluegrass music. He was a long time faithful active member of the First Community Church in Southborough and spent his time visitng church members, friends and acquaintances. He will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Barbara Wicklman and her husband Norman of Marlborough; John G. Cummings of West Roxbury; 2 grandsons, Jonathan and Benjamin Wicklman of Marlborough; a great grandson, Jaxson Daniel; a sister in law, Dorothy Cummings; a nephew, Ronnie Cummings ; a niece Linda Foster all of Freeport, ME.

He is pre-deceased by his 1st wife Hope (Gilbert) Cummings who passed away in 1992 and his brother Ronald “Ronnie” Cummings.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 14, from 5 to 7 PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, at 2 PM at the 1st Community Church, Highland St., Southborough. Burial will be on Thursday in Maine.

She was the wife of the late Ronald Campbell who passed away in 2008.

She was the co-owner of Campbell Rubbish.

She is survived by her children, Amy Campbell of Southborough, Keith Campbell and his wife Donna of Southborough; Ronald Scott Campbell of Worcester; 6 grandchildren, Chelsea, Dylan and McKenzie Campbell and Seth Scott and Michael Campbell. 

There will be no calling hours.

Jeannette L. (Grise) Young, 87, of Southborough passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2016 after a period of declining health.

She was the devoted wife of the late Edward J. Young who died in 1994.

Born in Ware, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Ella (Dubois) Grise.

Jeannette was a graduate of Worcester State College where she majored in teaching and minored in geography. She taught math and English for over 30 years at area schools and retired from the Marlborough Public School system. She would dazzle us with her knowledge of obscure facts about the mountain ranges of China, Europe and Africa’s rivers, tributaries and deserts. She had an obsessive interest in meteorology, where she could talk about cloud types, storm fronts and weather systems for hours. Jeannette was an active member of St. Matthew Church of Southborough where she was a sacristan for over 22 years. She could often be seen at the rectory doing many tasks, no matter how menial, with a smile.

She is survived by her children, Monica Snow of Hudson; Edward A. Young of Hopkinton; Bernadette Fernandes and her husband Stephen of Rutland, VT; Theresa Churchill and her husband Stephen of Grafton; 5 grandchildren, Angela, Theresa and Charles Snow; Brian Young; and Emily Fernandes; 2 sisters Sister Mare Adriandella and Sister Mary Martin de Porres of the Sisters of Providence in Holyoke.

In addition to her husband she is pre-deceased by her daughter Loretta Young who passed away in 1968.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 17, from 4 to 7 PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 18 at 12 ,Noon at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Obituary: George Aselbekian, 81

George Aselbekian, 81, died suddenly on Monday, March 21, 2016 at MetroWest Medical Center surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 60 years, Judith Ann (Richardson). He also leaves his daughter, Doreen Aselbekian, and granddaughter, Desiree Aselbekian, both of Southborough.

George was born and raised in Southborough. He was the son of Armenian Genocide survivors, Zartoohi (Antriassian) and Eghia Aselbekian. He was predeceased by his younger brother Edward.

George attended Southborough Public Schools and Marlborough Vocational School where he studied Machine Shop. He was a master welder and machinist starting Aselbekian Machine with his wife in 1963 continuing the business for nearly 45 years.

In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, watching the Red Sox, attending coffee club with the “boys,” spending Sundays with his closest friends, and riding in his Kubota tractor. In his final days, he was able to do everything he enjoyed and be with everyone he loved, including plowing snow in the Kubota one last time. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 25 from 4 to 7pm at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

Burial will be private.

Beloved husband of the late Andromaki (Cotatgis) Hovanes. Mother of Paul S. Sarkis, and John T. Sarkis and his wife Nicole. Brother of Nazaret Sarkissian and his wife Elizabeth. Grandfather of John-Luc Sarkis and Dorianna Sarkis. Also survived by many relatives and friends, and his grandcat Sophie.

Visitation on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm at [Faggas Funeral Homes]. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund.

Obituary: Arlene M. Williams, 94

Arlene M. Williams, 94, departed this world for heaven on April 1, 2016 after a long period of declining health while a resident of Beaumont Northborough. Today we rejoice in the knowledge that she has passed the barrier of time as we know it and is forever at home with the Savior she faithfully served.

Arlene was born in the coastal town of Brooklin, ME. She was the oldest of five siblings, and grew up on a farm during the Depression. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years, Ernest (Bud) Williams in 1985. She and Bud moved from Maine to Massachusetts in 1949, eventually settling in Southborough. For generations of Southborough elementary school children, she was known as Mrs. Williams, the Lunch Lady, working at South Union and Mary E. Finn Schools. She prepared their lunches “from scratch”, including homemade cookies and brownies.

Arlene loved to cook and her family and friends were highly appreciative. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always remember her for her yeast rolls and cookies. Her friends and church family will fondly recall her trays of Christmas cookies. Arlene was an ardent Red Sox fan. She rarely missed a game and was ecstatic when they won the World Series in 2004. 

She served the Lord and her church faithfully. As a long term, active member of First Community Church in Southborough, Arlene served in many capacities and was always the first to volunteer to help the church or one of its members. She gave rides, visited shut-ins, and brought meals to those in need. She also volunteered at the Food Pantry and for the Red Cross. In her later years she would be blessed by having others do the same for her. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Richard Williams and his wife Gloria; her daughter, Susan Wright, and her husband Ted; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Merrill Means, and his wife Brenda, and a sister, Madeline Smith, and her husband Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Hooper, and her brother, Ralston (Junior) Means.

A Christian Memorial Service and Interment will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Interment will be at 10:00 AM at the Southborough Rural Cemetery 11 Cordaville Rd, Southborough. Following the Interment there will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the First Community Church, 105 Southville Rd., Southborough.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the First Community Church.

Obituary: Oscar G. Aselbekian, 89

Oscar G. Aselbekian, 89, a lifelong resident of Southborough, died on Tuesday, April 12, at Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, after a period of declining health.

He was the husband of the late Anne (Kaderian) Aselbekian who passed away in 2007.

Oscar attended the former Peter’s High School and left before graduating to help his family with their dairy farm. He worked at the Woodland Dairy Farm until the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority took the land by eminent domain in the 1950’s. Oscar then went to work for Needham Dairy as a milkman until he retired.

He enjoyed morning coffee with his buddies at Honey Dew, feeding his birds, gardening and caring for his yard. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son Mark Aselbekian, his sister, Elizabeth Hagopian both of Southborough and his grandchildren, Jill Aselbekian of Whitinsville; Gregory and Zachary Aselbekian of Cape Cod. He is pre-deceased by a son, Gregory Aselbekian who died in 1999. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday morning, April 15, from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A funeral home service will follow at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Beverly Ann (Boyle) Fallon, 79 of Southborough and formerly of Milton died peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved wife of Edward F. Fallon, Jr for the past 58 years.

In addition to her husband, Beverly is survived by her children, Alexa Fallon of Southborough; Joy Fallon-Matassi of Rome, Italy; Edward Fallon, III of Gilford, NH; her siblings, Joseph Boyle of Marshfield; Valerie Boyle of Quincy; Marie Boyle Demarco of Newton; and 2 grandchildren, Katia and Edward Fallon.

Irene B. Tibert, 81, of Southborough, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on April 21, 2016. She was the wife of Richard F. Tibert.

Irene was born in 1934 to Dominick and Chiara Dominianni in Brooklyn, NY.

After graduating from James Madison High School she enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served during the Korean War. Upon discharge she continued to serve with the National Guard.

In her earlier days she and her former husband Bill Burkis operated a small landscaping and maintenance business. She was employed for a while at Algonquin Regional High School in the multi-media department. She worked ten years for the U.S. Postal Service in Marlborough. Being the patriotic and devoted person that she was, she worked thirty -three years as Southborough’s Veterans Agent, and proudly wore her dress blues at patriotic and military events and ceremonies. 

She was also much involved in the establishment of WIMSA, the Women In Military Service for America Memorial in Washington, DC. Her name and short audio bio is recorded there. Irene took various courses of study at Framingham State College and gradually developed a passion for American history. She was especially intrigued by, as she would put it, the “First Ladies and their husbands”. Irene loved ballet, and for a short time she taught youngsters in her home. She enjoyed her travels to Europe, and most especially to Italy, her land of heritage. She enjoyed sailing aboard the historic windjammers in Penobscot Bay and along the Maine coast. She liked to keep active as possible with traditional jazz, museums, live theater and tasteful movies.

Besides her husband Dick, Irene is survived by daughter Laura and husband Lewis Mayo, daughter Lisa A. Hazell, daughter Patricia M. Burkis, step-daughter Lauren M. and her husband Dan Wells, step-son Gary A. Tibert, granddaughter Monika I. and her husband Jay Sarsfield, granddaughter Sarah I. Hazell, grandson Christopher R. Hazell, grandson Nicholas W. Darby, grandson William D. Mayo, grandson John A. Mayo, grandson Andrew J. Mayo, brother Bruno “Bob” and wife Gunta Dominianni and beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her former husband, William Burkis in 1974 and her sister Clare and husband Johnnie Basile.

A private family service with Military Honors will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Westborough.

William P. MacIver, 79, of Southborough and formerly of Weymouth and Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 surrounded by family at Beaumont Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough.

He was the husband of the late Constance (Lupo) MacIver who passed away in 2007.

Bill was a graduate of Weymouth High School and attended Northeastern University. He worked for Conrail and Air Products for many years, first in the Boston area and later was transferred to Pennsylvania.

Bill was an active member of the Northeastern Region, National Model Railroad Association since he was 20 years old.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy Levangie of Southborough; his stepchildren, Leslie Clickstein of Danvers; Beverly Goldstein of Brookline; Paula Giangrande of Newton: Constance Donahue of Maine; his nephews, Robert F. Levangie, Jr. of S. Yarmouth; Michael W. Levangie and his wife Patricia and theirchildren, William and Kate of Frderick, MD and N. Chatham; and several step grandchildren. 

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 15, from 3 to 5 PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 16, at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.

Obituary: Arthur Keith Piper, 93

Arthur Keith Piper, 93, of Southborough, died peacefully on May 11, 2016. He was a devoted father to his late daughter Donna Jean Piper, who left us too early last fall, and a loving husband to his dearly departed wife, Betty R. (Raven) Piper.

Keith was born in Marlborough son of Warren H. and Mildred W. (Woodward) Piper. He spent summers in his younger years in Brockton with his grandparents Arthur M. and Myrtie W. Keith. He also spent much time on Fort Meadow as a child. He enjoyed painting for a number of years, taught by a favorite aunt. Keith graduated from Marlborough High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

In November of 1942 Keith joined the US Army and was very proud of his service, traveling the globe as a motion picture projectionist, not only delivering news to our troops but serving as moral support with the motion pictures of that time. 

When his time of service ended he resided in Southborough, with his wife and daughter and began his life long career with National Grid but kept his motion picture operator license active running a movie here and there. Along the way Keith became a very involved member of many organizations and chapters across New England, such as the Masons, Knights Templar, Aletheia Grotto, Eastern Star, Aleppo Shriners, The Scottish Rite and the Sons of the American Revolution.

Keith is survived by his sister Constance Elder of Hudson, MA and his brother David Piper of Port Richie, FL as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 18th from 9:30am to 11:00 a.m. in Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Obituary: Bonnie (Lungwitz) Pedersen, 73

Bonnie (Lungwitz) Pedersen, 73 of Southborough died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 after being stricken ill at home.

She was the beloved wife of G. Mark Pedersen for the past 54 years. Bonnie was the daughter of the late Donald J. and Lois (Daily) Lungwitz and grew up in Haiti. She attended schools in Haiti, Jamaica and Switzerland prior to attending Pine Manor Jr. College in Chestnut Hill, where she met her husband, Mark, on a blind date.

Bonnie was a very talented painter and natural artist using only nature to create her masterpieces. Along the way she has won several awards for her “Sailor’s Valentines”. She was an avid sailor, boater and gardener and was a member of the Southborough Garden Club for many years. Speaking 5 languages, Bonnie also loved to travel, enjoying the people, food, cultures and beaches where she visited. But, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Chris Pedersen, his wife Megan and their children Ben and Nathan of Sharon; her daughter, Heidi Schlossman and her husband Adam of Maryland; her brother, Joseph Lungwitz of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 3, from 4 to 7 PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, at 1:30PM at the Pilgrim Church, Common Street, Southborough. Burial will be private.
