Obituary: Alfred R. Collotta, 85

Alfred R. Collotta, 85, of Southborough and a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 surrounded by his family.

He was the husband of Dorothy (Patti) Collotta for over 59 years.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Samuel and Marianna (Piscatello) Collotta.

Al was a 1948 graduate of Framingham High School who has remained an active member of the class and was on all of the reunion committees. He owned and operated Collotta’s Barber Shop on Hartford Street in Framingham for over 65 years. Al loved being a barber, but his greatest joy was his family. He was a member of the Framingham Columbus Club, the Knights of Columbus; St Matthew’s Church of Southborough and formerly a member of St. Tarcisius Church of Framingham.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Ellen Armbruster and her husband Neil of Stratford, CT; Steven Collotta and his wife Joy of West Dennis; Alfred A. Collotta and his wife Christine of Shrewsbury; Peter Collotta and his wife Victoria of Framingham; his brother, Anthony Collotta and his wife Carmella of Framingham; his grandchildren, Gregory and Christopher, Jennifer, Jaclyn and Vincent; and his great grandson, Joseph. He is predeceased by a brother Ray and a sister Mary. 

At the request of the family there will be no calling hours.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 14, at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.

Obituary: Richard E. Falconi, 69

Richard E. Falconi, 69, a lifelong resident of Southborough, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home, after a short illness, surrounded by family.

He was a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School and a member of the class of 1969 at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH, serving as Senior Class President. Upon graduation, Rick stayed very active with Franklin Pierce, being one of the founding members of the Alumni Association. While on the board, he served as Membership and By-laws Chairman, Alumni and Reunion Weekend Chair and Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Committee. Rick retired from the family’s Falconi Energy in 2011 after working as manager in the heating and cooling division. He was a fixture at the company started by his father and uncles for the better part of 50 years. He loved spending time at his home on Peabody Pond in Sebago, Maine. 

Rick was a longtime auto racing enthusiast, having built and maintained cars that won hundreds of races and multiple championships throughout New England and continued to be active in the sport until his passing. He served on the board of the Southborough Historical Society and was active at their museum.

Rick is the son of the late John J. and Ann H. Falconi of Southborough. He is survived by his son Jamie and partner Allison Russell of Southborough; daughter Jesse Veves, her husband Steve and their children Evan and Olivia of Fayston, VT; his brothers Peter, David and Jimmy all of Southborough; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Justin and his brother John.

Calling hours are Sunday, September 13 from 2pm to 6pm at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Rte 30, Southborough.

Funeral services on Monday will be private. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Obituary: Irene (Pendolari) McCarthy, 92

Irene (Pendolari) McCarthy of Southborough, age 92, died at her home surrounded by her loved ones, on Monday, September 14, 2015.

A native of Framingham, Irene was the oldest child of the late Romeo and Alena (Boudreau) Pendolari, two of the town’s original 20th century entrepreneurs. Irene shared their drive and spark, graduating from Framingham High School and Regis College, and then began her professional career in the accounting department at General Motors. She married the late James Russell “Russ” McCarthy, and raised four children during her sixty years as his loving wife. She returned to professional life in 1973, first at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, and then for the Babson College Center for Entrepreneurship, where she enjoyed almost twenty years as conference coordinator for the school’s BCERC program, retiring at age 79.

Irene is survived by her children, Cheryl McCarthy of Westborough, Mimi Hatch and her husband John of Albuquerque, NM, Laura McCarthy, DVM, (Maj., USMC, Ret.) of Reisterstown, MD and James R. “Jim” McCarthy, Jr. and his wife Julia of Southborough; grandsons Mark Hoyt and his wife Kristen, Greg and Brad Hoyt of Maryland, and J. Russell and Devin McCarthy of Southborough. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandson Jackson, who brought her immense joy in her final years. She is survived by siblings Romeo “Buddy” Pendolari and Roberta (Pendolari) Poulos and her husband Peter of Framingham, and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dennis Pendolari.

Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM at Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., Framingham.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Church of St. Anne, 20 Boston Road. (Rte. 30), Southborough, followed by her burial. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Church of St. Anne, 20 Boston Rd., Southborough, MA 01772 or Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt. Wayte Ave., #2, Framingham, MA 01702.

Obituary: Robert A. Hutt, age 87

Robert A. Hutt, age 87 of Southborough, died at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family on September 22, 2015. Born in Newton to the late James A. and Mary (Kilmain) Hutt, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy (Brown) Hutt; his daughter, Cheryl Hutt and her husband John Monterisi of Brookline; his son, Matthew Hutt of Southborough; a sister, Mary Briggs of Kennebunk, Maine; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Beranek.

Robert grew up in Wellesley and was a resident of Southborough for the last 40 years. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the US Navy at the end of World War II. He was a Seaman, First Class and stationed in Hawaii where he was attached to the 116th Naval Construction Battalion which was sent to Japan. Robert was awarded World War II Victory and Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medals. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 25 and worked at P.I.E. and Pilot Freight Carriers for 25 years. After retirement from the Teamsters he was a courtesy driver for Foreign Motors West until the age of 80. 

Robert was a 17 year lung cancer survivor. He enjoyed traveling, US history, and following the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Brigham and Women’s hospital who provided excellent care to Robert for the past 12 years.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit with the Hutt Family in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, from 5 – 8PM on Sunday, September 27th.

His Funeral Mass and burial will be private.

Obituary: Eileen Mary (Sullivan) Perham

Eileen Mary (Sullivan) Perham, 92, passed away gracefully on Sept. 21, 2015 at Beaumont Nursing Home in Northborough where she had been a resident since 2009. Private services for the family were held on Sept. 25, 2015 in Framingham at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home and St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.

Eileen was born in Framingham on July 4, 1923 to the late George and Theresa Sullivan. She was a graduate of Framingham High School and later employed in the accounting dept. of the Dennison Mfg. Company. In 1947, she moved to Fayville with her husband, the late Arthur Perham, former owner of Ted’s of Fayville, and again in 1967 to Boston Road in Southborough. In a letter she wrote in 1960, Eileen referred to herself as “just an ordinary girl” but she will be remembered as an extraordinary woman who accepted all challenges of life with dignity and strength of spirit. Eileen was a talented writer who chronicled her thoughts in many hand written journals and letters to her family and friends. Fireworks, parades, patriotic and country western music were just a few of her favorite things. She was truly happiest in her sunny Southborough kitchen enjoying the simple pleasures of everyday life. 

Eileen was pre-deceased by: her brother, the Rev. Edward G. Sullivan, her sister: Elizabeth Munroe; her only son: Edward A. Perham and her companion: Donald MacEachern. She is survived by her daughters: Karen E. Woodward, Barbara A. Truell, Jean M. Perham and Sandra J. Daigle. Eileen had 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren: Dylan, Ella, Tilly, Macey, Sean and Nola.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Beaumont Nursing Home for Eileen’s care while she was a resident, as well as Salmon VNA & Hospice and Home Care Solutions, Inc., for their additional care and support. If you would like to remember Eileen you may do so by making a donation in memory of Edward A. Margaret P. (Ferrari) Stoddard, 78, of Southborough, formerly of Framingham, died on Sunday, October 4, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late William L. Stoddard for 43 years and was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Ellen M. (Eagan) Ferrari.

Margaret was a graduate of St. Michaels Academy in Hudson and Wards Worcester School of Business Science. She worked for 38 years as a secretary for her husbands business, R.M. Davis & Son. Margaret enjoyed reading and old time movies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and friends. She leaves her children, Lynann Kendall of Southborough; Michael Graves and his wife Sara of Shrewsbury; her stepchildren, Mark W. Stoddard of Hudson; Lori Andrews and her husband Scott of E. Douglas; 5 grandchildren, Kathryn, Sara, and Sam Kendall; Matthew and Emily Graves; a step-grandchild Thomas Andrews; her brother, Thomas E. Ferrari of Westborough; her sisters, Mary L. Ferrari of Marlborough; Kathleen Zanella and her husband George of Framingham; Anne Greenberg and her husband Steve of Ashland; a sister in law, Judith Ferrari of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Richard J. Ferrari and her son-in-law, Christopher Kendall.

There are no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will follow at the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Obituary: Francis James ‘REM’ Ramelli, Jr., 80

Francis James ‘REM’ Ramelli, Jr., 80, of Saint Agatha, ME and formally of Southborough, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 4, 2015 at Cary Medical Center in Caribou ME.

Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Francis E and Eva (Lively) Ramelli.

Rem grew up in Southborough and was a graduate of the former St Peters High School, class of 1953. He joined the US Army in 1955 and was stationed in Germany where he met a German girl named Anita. They were married on June 23, 1956 and he brought her home to the Southborough. He worked for many years as a medical salesman traveling all over the USA. . In 1982 his job took him to Austria where they lived and traveled throughout Europe for a year.. In 1985 he and Anita sold their house in Southborough and purchased Camp Wapiti Sporting Camps in Patten, Maine which they owned and operated for 22 years until his beloved wife Anita lost her battle with cancer in 2002.

Frank was so devoted to Hunting and Fishing. His greatest joy was spending time at Camp Take It Easy in the Berkshires with the Southborough Coon Club and their “Mystery Rides”. Rem will be sorely missed at Camp.

He leaves behind his loving partner Arlene Gombatz who took the best care of Frank for many years; a son, Antonio J Ramelli and wife Laurieann of Sinclair, ME, a daughter, Karen E (Ramelli) Vanderhoef and husband, Cliff of Fort Kent, ME; 4 grandchildren, Tracy Chabot, Jessica Kelly, Samantha Ramelli and Kyle Duggan; 6 great grandchildren, Emma, Kaden, Nokomis, Giovanni, Serenity and Madison; a sister Judith Markey and husband Allen of Cape Cod and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara J. (Harlow) Clark, 89, of Southborough and Venice, FL, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Beaumont Skilled Nursing &Rehab Center in Westborough.

She was the beloved wife of George Clark who passed away in 2009. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie (Scott) Harlow.

Barbara earned an associate’s degree at Green Mountain Junior College in Poultney, VT. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Barbara enjoyed summering on the Cape at their home in Orleans and wintering in Florida at their home in Venice. She was a member of the Friends of the Southborough Library, Southborough Garden Club, and Pilgrim Church of Southborough. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family. 

She is survived by her children, Pamela Clark of Venice, FL; Stephanie McCook and her husband John of Frisco, TX; Harlow Clark of Southborough; her sister, Marjorie Faherty of Falmouth; her grandchildren, Kristen Wasylson and Janna McCook, Justin and Tyler Clark, Matthew and Scott Clark; and 10 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son Laurence Clark and her brother Richard Harlow.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 9, from 4 to 7 PM at Morris Funeral Home,

Obituary: Patrice M. (Ryan) Kline, 64

Patrice M. (Ryan) Kline, 64, died Saturday, October 24 after being stricken ill a few days earlier.

She was born in Framingham, the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Thayer) Ryan and lived in the Metrowest area all of her life. Mrs. Kline worked for the Town of Southborough in the Assessors office for the past 26 years and previously worked many years for the South Middlesex Opportunity Council, where she enjoyed helping many individuals and families in their times of need.

She is survived by one son Ethan Kline of Marlborough, one daughter Penelope Phaneuf of Southborough, three brothers; Dennis Ryan of VT, Jack Ryan of Montana, Mark Ryan of Marlborough, four sisters; Carole Ann Walls of Fla., Jane Peters of Marlborough, Darci Drummey of Charlton and Barbara Jean of ME, nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com) will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m.

James Frederick Anketell, 82, of Southborough died on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Ruth H. (McCann) Anketell, who passed away in 2009.

Mr. Anketell was an Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and worked for many years for Raytheon in Wayland as a logistical engineer. He was an active member of St.Anne Church of Southborough, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his 9 children, James Anketell and his wife Barbara; Mary Anketell and her husband David Wilson; Susan Jablonski ; David Anketell and his wife Maria; Mark Anketell and his wife Peggy; Carol Doucet and her husband Jim; Ruth Kuniholm and her husband Erik; Sarah Frederick and her husband Steven; Beth Anketell and her husband Martin Kulldorff; 19 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; his brother John Anketell and his Jane and many nieces and nephews. 

He predeceased by his sister Winifred Rock and a son in law Stephen Jablonski.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 1, from 2 to 5 PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 2, at 10:30 AM at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Obituary: Walter M. Davis, Sr., 93

Walter M. Davis, Sr., 93, of Wellesley and Southborough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29 , 2015 after a long and full life.

Walter was born in Southborough to Eva Landry and William Davis. He was the youngest of 7 children and attended Southborough schools and Lawrence Academy in Groton. Walter went on to attend Bates College until he enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he returned to Southborough and married his high school sweetheart, Betty Sayles. They enjoyed 56 wonderful years together before Betty died in 2002. He worked for Devonshire Financial and the National Shawmut Bank of Boston, and later for the Town of Southborough.

He was best known as the greatest father, grandfather, and great grandfather. An active tennis player for 70 years, he also enjoyed reading, volunteering at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, and practicing yoga. As the ultimate Super Fan, he rarely missing a game in which his children or grandchildren played. Walter’s wit and humor as well as his capacity for love will long be remembered by family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Walter Davis, Jr. and his wife Meg of Wellesley, his daughter Sally Davis Yeatman and her husband Larry of Santa Monica, CA, as well as 4 grandchildren, Jesse, Lindsay, Andy, and Sara and 9 great grandchildren.

Walter (Pop) will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Obituary: Emil W. Miller, Jr., 93

Emil W. Miller, Jr., 93, a longtime Southborough resident, died on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

He was the husband of 70 years to the late Shirley E. Miller who passed away in June, 2015.

Born in Boston, Emil graduated from Boston Latin High School. He received a B.S., B.A., and law degree from Boston University. His career was in accounting and business.

Emil served as Quarter Master Third Class on the USS Picuda; S.S.#382 and USS S-35 submarines in the U.S. Navy during WWII and received several medals and awards. He was an active Life Member of the national, state, and region U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II organization and served as president of his local chapter. He enjoyed attending national veterans’ conventions with his brother, Jason, also a WWII sub vet. He was a Life Member of The Disabled American Veterans and a Life Member of the Masonic Lodge.

Emil looked forward to attending Red Sox games with his dear friends, Lee and Mattie Cummings of Southborough. He enjoyed participating in activities at Southborough Senior Center.

He is survived by his children, Emil W. Miller III of Southborough;Diane E. Nescio and her husband Joseph S. of West Chester, PA; a sister-in-law Lois Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by son, John W. Miller; his three brothers Gilbert, Jason, and Chester Miller; sister Catherine Miller; and sister-in-law Helena Miller.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements for a private service are under the care of Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. in Southborough. Burial will be in Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Obituary: Richard “Dick” T. Bessom, 81

Richard “Dick” T. Bessom, 81, passed away in the presence of family on Thursday November 12, 2015 at the Coleman House in Northborough.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Harold E. and Mina (Townley) Bessom, and grew up in Newton with his younger brother Malcolm.

After graduating from Newton High School, he attended Boston University where he earned a degree in Public Relations, Communications and Business Administration. Following university, he spent two years with the U.S. Coast Guard, during which time he met Trudi Winkler; they married in 1958 and had four children whom they raised in Natick and later Southborough.

Dick spent his career in the insurance industry, becoming the Director of Human Resources at Paul Revere, now Unum. He was an active Boy Scout leader, loved hiking, carpentry, and was an excellent dancer. Upon retirement, he dedicated his time to family as well as traveling and gardening with his wife Trudi.

Dick is survived by his wife Trudi (Winkler) Bessom of Southborough; his three children, Cheryl Satrom of Shrewsbury, Susan Nelhuebel of Southborough and Jeff Bessom of Leominster as well as his four grandchildren, Matthew, Derek, Nicholas and Cara, and his great grandchildren Liesel, Lenore and Violet. He was preceded in death by his son Eric Bessom and his brother Malcolm Bessom. 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00pm at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common Street, Southborough

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Obituary: James B. Loftus, 63

James B. Loftus, 63, of Southborough passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, after battling a long illness.

He was the husband of Martha (Sullivan) Loftus for over 30 years.

Born and raised in Holyoke, he remained devoted to the city and returned annually to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day parade, his favorite event of the year. After graduating with a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross of Worcester and a M.B.A. from Babson in Wellesley, Jim worked for Polaroid for most of his adult life.

In addition to his wife he leaves behind his children, Matthew and his wife Marina of Devon, PA; Christine of Denver, CO; Brendan of Boston; a granddaughter Zoe Isabel; a sister, Helen Perri of Springfield and a brother , Steve Loftus of Holyoke. 

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning, November 21, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Rte 30, Southborough.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Martha Templeman, 96, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2015. Her official obituary has yet to be published, but her family asked me to share notice of her passing.

She was a resident of Southborough from 1927 until a few years ago when she moved to an assisted living complex at Christopher Heights in Marlboro

She leaves a daughter Virginia Whynot and son Clifford Templeman along with two grand-daughters – nine great-grand-kids and a great-great-grand-daughter.

Martha LillianTempleman (96) passed away on December 4, 2015 at Worcester Memorial Hospital.

Born in Brighton, Mass. August 19, 1919 – She was the daughter of William C. and Racheal F.Palmer. She moved to Southborough in 1925 after the death of her mother. She was a graduate of Peters High School – Southborough, Class of 1937 and then went to work at Fenwal Corp. Ashland. She married Clifford Templeman in 1943 and began raising her family. For many years she was well known for raising Boston Terriers.

She leaves a son Clifford G. Templeman of Southborough and his girl-friend Nancy Perkins, a daughter Virginia A. Whynot and her husband Stephen of Southborough, two grand-daughters, Julie Daoust and her husband Alan of Little Elm, Texas and Colleen Hoppe of Southborough, a grandson Liam of Worcester, four great-grandsons, five-great granddaughters, and a Great-great-grand daughter. 

Martha is pre-deceased by her husband Clifford G. Templeman Sr. who passed in 1985, her brother William Palmer Jr. of Hopkinton, her sister Eleanor Walkup of S. Attleboro, and her son William P. Templeman of Southborough.

She was a member of the First Community Church of Southborough for many years as well as being an active member of the Southborough Senior Center where she enjoyed the company of her long time Southborough friends.

For the past two and a half years – she had been residing at the Christopher Heights Assisted Living facility in Marlborough where her cheerful, playful personality was enjoyed by her new friends.

A graveside service will be held at Rural Cemetery – Rt. 85 Southborough at 1000 AM Saturday – December 12th – prior to a Memorial Service at the First Community Church – 137 Southville Rd. Southborough which will be held at 1100 AM. A collation at the church will follow.

Marilyn Catherine Murphy (Volk), 75, of North Falmouth and Naples FL, and formerly of Southborough, died unexpectedly on December 9, 2015 at the Cape Cod Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas F. Murphy, Jr. for 50 years. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Anne (Bingham) Volk.

Marilyn was a graduate of Framingham State University. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Norwood, Southborough, and Goleta, California. She was a member at the Pocasset Golf Club, Cedar Hammock Golf Club in Naples, Florida, the Falmouth Garden Club, and she was the former president of the Southborough Garden Club. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society in North Falmouth. She also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Florida. 

In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her children: Thomas F. Murphy III and his wife Rachael of Milford, Stephen W. Murphy and his wife Teresa of Northborough, and Elizabeth M. Richter and her husband Mario of Milton. She was the doting grandmother of Patrick and Catherine Murphy, Jack and Ryan Murphy, and Quinn and Benjamin Richter. She was the sister of Anne E. Walley of Dedham. She also leaves her nieces and nephew, Francis Walley III of W. Roxbury, Marcia Blenko of Wellesley, and Susan DeNatale of Wellesley and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours [were] held from 2-5 PM on Sunday Dec 13th at Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 Route 28A (West Falmouth Hwy), WEST FALMOUTH. A funeral Mass [was] held at 10 AM on Monday, Dec. 14th at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Rd, North Falmouth; followed by burial in the North Falmouth Cemetery.

Priscilla Jean (Drew) Chiavarini, 81, of Southborough, formally of Framingham died December 12, 2015 at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham. She was the wife of Frank Chiavarini who died on September 24, 2001.

Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Herbert I. and Beulah L. (Jackson) Drew. She was a graduate of Natick High School class of 1952 and a member of the Class Reunion Committee.

Priscilla is survived by her six children; Joan Hyder of Douglas, Ernest Chiavarini of Millis, Susan Sullivan of Cumberland, RI, Frank Chiavarini of Southborough, Joseph Chiavarini of Framingham and Mary Chiavarini of Douglas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Dr. Michael Esposito of Bradenton, FL, cousins; Norma and Charles Burr of Franklin and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Drew. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 10 -11AM.

A memorial service will take place at 11AM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.

Obituary: Clyde W. Buzzell, 73

Clyde W. Buzzell, 73 of Southborough passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his home where he has lived since he was 4 years old.

He was the husband of Wendy (Clark) Buzzell for the past 29 years.

Born in Concord, he was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Neary) Buzzell.

Clyde was a 1960 graduate of Framingham Vocational High School, automotive division and served in the National Guard from 1964 to 1970. Previous to his job with the town of Southborough, he worked for a small engine repair and service company in the late 60’s to early 70’s, and later a water works specialist for 5 years. In 1977 he went to work for the Town of Southborough as a mechanic, retiring after 31 years of service in 2008.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his 2 children, Jennifer Calef of Southborough; Michael Buzzell and his wife Stephanie of Charlton; his 5 brothers, Harold of North Hampton, NH; Donald and his wife Linda of Northborough; Warren of Palmer; Norman and his wife Kathy of Northborough; Philip of Westborough; 2 grandchildren, Laura and Jameson; many nieces and nephews and many good friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning, December 19, from 9 to 10:30 at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough. A funeral home service will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to Reliant Medical Group Foundation, 100 Front Street, Worcester, MA 01608 where 100% of the monies donated will be used for the COPD program that he depended on for his medical services.
